During a tuition session we will cover:
- How to properly apply techniques that will calm, soothe and relax your pet
- Introduction to some basic canine anatomy
- Explain how and why massage works
- The physiological and psychological health benefits of massage for your dog
- Explain when it is not safe to apply massage
- You will receive a workbook containing the notes and diagrams that you can keep and refer back to
On completion of the tuition you will be able to:
- Safely perform 3 different massage routines that you can use on a regular basis
- You will be able to apply Massage to your dog safely and effectively
- Help you to identify muscle soreness and abnormalities early, so you can engage professional assistance
- Strengthen the bond between you and your pet
- Improve your pets comfort

If you would like to learn some basic techniques to calm and relax your dog and maintain their muscle health and wellbeing, improve your tactile awareness so you recognise what healthy muscle feels like and when professional intervention might be needed, you can book a one on one tuition session.
I will come to your home and go through with you basic techniques, principals, and teach you three basic routines to calm and maintain your pet. Ideal for all dogs without underlying conditions, but in particular suited to pets with mild anxiety, approaching mid - late age before showing signs of movement issues, agility or working dogs.
The techniques in the tuition session are for calming, relaxing and maintaining healthy muscle. It does not cover physical rehabilitation or treatment to address movement and mobility issues. Please book a Remedial massage / physical rehabilitation session with me in the first instance if your dog has underlying mobility issues that you specifically wish to treat. (see above).
