I became involved with anatomy & physiology in the 1990s when I trained to become a Army Medical Technician with the Royal Army Medical Corp (V) in UK. Upon moving back to Australia in 2003 I combined that interest with my love of animals and began training as a Veterinary Nurse.

In 2014 I graduated from the National College of Traditional Medicine as a qualified Canine Myofunctional Therapist

I established "In Touch With Dog" in 2014. offering a mobile service to the residents of Perth and South West, WA.

In 2015 I completed a short course specific to massage treatment for Rehomed and Rescue dogs.

In 2017 I completed my Diploma in Canine Rehabilitation and Wellbeing

In 2018 I completed studies in: Senior Dog Meridian Massage & Acupressure , Dog Emotion & Cognition and Raw Pet Food Nutrition

I am also a member of the International Institute of Complimentary Theraists

Since establishing In Touch With Dog I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of canine clients of all ages and sizes that have experienced a variety of conditions and situations, including:

  • Hip & Elbow Dysplasia
  • Luxating Patellas
  • Cruciate ligament tears
  • Arthritis & DJD
  • Limping and lameness
  • Nerve damage
  • Senior dogs
  • Anxiety and nervousness
  • Meningitis
  • Panosteitis (Growing pains)
  • Palliative Care

This business is dedicated to my friend and soul mate, Isaac. His presence in my life was enriching beyond words, and I am still blessed with the memories of our journey together. He inspired me to seek out a new start and embrace a more holistic mindset.

Sadly, we lost him to bladder cancer at the end of 2014, but the experience we shared exploring treatments to help him, has gifted me to help other canines find relief from their musclular pain & discomfort, as well as appreciate what their human companions are going through when their beloved pet is slowing down or not in full health.
